Coverage Overview
This warranty covers the structural integrity and essential functionality of steel products supplied by Prime Hub Steel. Coverage varies based on the product type:
New steel containers & fabricated steel units
Used or refurbished steel containers
Customized or modified steel structures
Each category has its own warranty period and terms, outlined below.
1. New Steel Containers & One-Trip Units
Warranty Period: 12 months from the date of delivery.
Coverage Includes:
Structural integrity of walls, roof, frame, base, and corner castings
Weld quality and structural seams
Wind & watertight condition (no holes, leaks, or compromised seals)
Proper functionality of doors, locking mechanisms, and hinges
Exclusions:
Normal wear and tear, minor dents, scratches, scuffs
Surface rust or cosmetic imperfections not affecting structural strength
Damage caused by improper handling, unloading, relocation, or poor site conditions
Environmental corrosion from prolonged exposure without proper maintenance
2. Used / Refurbished Steel Containers
Warranty Period: 90 days from the date of delivery.
Coverage Includes:
Wind and watertight (WWT) condition
Structural soundness suitable for storage and use
Exclusions:
Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, patches, or surface rust
Paint fading or cosmetic condition
Any defects disclosed prior to purchase
Damage caused after delivery due to mishandling or site issues
3. Customized, Fabricated, or Modified Steel Units
Warranty Period: 6 months from the date of delivery.
Coverage Includes:
Integrity and workmanship of modifications
Windows, doors, vents, roll-up systems
Welding, structural reinforcements
Insulation, electrical systems (if applicable)
Framing and panel installations
Structural stability following modification
Exclusions:
Modifications performed by third parties after delivery
Customer-installed electrical, plumbing, or structural alterations
Damages resulting from misuse, overloading, or improper installation
Warranty Claims Process
1. Notification
Customers must submit a claim within the warranty period by emailing
support@primehubsteel.com
Include:
Order or invoice number
Photos/videos of the issue
Description of the defect
2. Inspection
Prime Hub Steel may request additional evidence or schedule an onsite or virtual inspection.
3. Resolution Options
Depending on the nature and extent of the defect, we may:
Repair the product onsite (when feasible)
Provide replacement components (gaskets, panels, hinges, etc.)
Replace the unit with a product of comparable value
Issue a partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not viable
Limitations & Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
Cosmetic issues: scratches, dents, scuffs, surface rust
Wear and tear from normal long-term use
Damages caused by improper foundation, poor site preparation, or relocation accidents
Environmental or chemical corrosion
Weather damage beyond design limits (storms, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.)
Customer modifications that compromise the structure
Vandalism, accidents, or misuse
Units stored or used improperly
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original purchaser listed on the invoice.
