Delivery Policy
At Prime Hub Steel, we understand that the delivery of your steel products is just as important as the quality of the products themselves. A reliable, secure, and timely delivery experience is essential to customer satisfaction. That’s why we’ve created a Delivery Policy that is clear, professional, and technically dependable — ensuring your order reaches you exactly as scheduled and in perfect condition.
Nationwide Coverage
Prime Hub Steel offers reliable delivery services across the entire United States — from major metropolitan areas to remote job sites, industrial hubs, ports, and rural regions. Our logistics network ensures smooth and efficient transportation of your steel products, with typical delivery timelines of 3–5 business days after the order is processed.
This nationwide capability is made possible through our strong partnerships with trusted freight companies, flatbed haulers, and specialized lifting service providers. Whether your delivery destination is a large commercial site or a hard-to-reach location, our logistics team ensures your materials arrive safely and on schedule.
Processing & Lead Time
Order Processing: All orders are reviewed, confirmed, and prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days.
Standard Delivery: Expect delivery within 3–5 business days, depending on location and weather or site accessibility.
Special Handling: Custom steel structures, heavy-grade materials, or oversized items may require extra preparation time, resulting in a slightly longer lead period.
Our team provides a real-time Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and keeps you updated at every stage of the delivery process to ensure a smooth and predictable experience.
Delivery Methods & Equipment
Tilt-Bed Truck Delivery
This is our most commonly used delivery method. The truck’s bed tilts, allowing your steel products or materials to slide smoothly into position. This method requires adequate space for maneuvering and a firm, level surface to ensure safe placement.
Flatbed Truck Delivery
Ideal for long-distance shipments or bulk orders, flatbed delivery allows us to transport multiple units efficiently. Since flatbeds do not self-unload, customers must arrange appropriate offloading equipment — such as a certified crane or heavy-duty forklift — prior to delivery.
Specialized Delivery Solutions
For locations with limited access, uneven ground, tight clearances, or elevated placement needs, we coordinate with experienced crane operators and rigging professionals. Our team ensures that every step of the process is executed safely and precisely, no matter how complex the site conditions may be.
Site Preparation Requirements
Customers must prepare the delivery site before arrival to ensure a smooth and safe unloading process. This includes:
Access Clearance: Minimum of 12 ft width and 14 ft height for truck entry; 40 ft deliveries require about 120 ft turning space.
Ground Stability: The area must be level, compact, and able to support the truck and materials. Soft soil may need reinforcement like gravel or concrete pads.
Clear Placement Area: Sufficient open space is required for unloading without obstructions.
Permits: Customers must confirm and obtain any local permits needed for placing materials on their property.
A site-readiness checklist is provided by the delivery team before dispatch.
Safety Protocols
All materials are securely fastened during transport using ISO-standard locking systems and heavy-duty chains to prevent shifting.
Our delivery team follows strict OSHA-compliant safety procedures during unloading and placement.
Upon arrival, the products undergo a visual inspection for any noticeable damage, and customers are encouraged to review and confirm the condition before completing the delivery sign-off.
Delivery Costs & Transparency
Delivery charges are determined using several key factors:
Distance between our distribution point and your delivery location.
Size, weight, and type of the steel products being transported.
Site requirements, including the need for cranes, special equipment, or additional handling.
At Prime Hub Steel, we believe in clear and honest pricing. All delivery costs are communicated upfront and in writing, with no hidden fees, surprise surcharges, or unexpected extras.
Delays & Contingencies
Although we work hard to meet all scheduled delivery timelines, certain situations may cause unexpected delays, including:
Severe or hazardous weather
Road closures, detours, or transportation weight restrictions
Pending permits or regulatory requirements
If any such delays occur, we promptly inform the customer and arrange a new delivery time as soon as possible. You will always be kept updated — real-time communication is a core part of our service commitment.
Customer Responsibilities
For a smooth and efficient delivery experience, customers are expected to:
Provide accurate access details and any relevant site information at the time of ordering.
Ensure the delivery area is fully prepared — clear, level, and meeting all required access and space specifications.
Be available on-site, or designate an authorized representative, during delivery to review the materials, verify condition, and complete the sign-off process.
